Last Saturday I had the royal privilege of photographing May and Armin's wedding at Lane End in Buckinghamshire.
Having photographed them at the Royal Landscape (see Buckinghamshire Engagement shoot) just after they got engaged, I knew that the wedding was going to be beautiful, meticulously well-planned, and a whole lot of fun!

The Bahai ceremony was carried out in front of a beautiful wooden gazebo on the patio of the Lane End pavilion. Thankfully the weather obliged and the ceremony took place under gorgeous late-afternoon sunshine.

The 'formal' portraits quickly became very informal when Armin's school friends spontaneously raised a ruckus and lifted May and Armin up in the air amidst much noise and merriment!

We then left the rabble for some more intimate photographs of May and Armin:

This was a wedding with an international theme, two ceremonies, stunning weather, an unconventional cake and the best first dance EVER which involved about half of the guests!

At 10.30pm, following a few quick portraits under the lights on the pavilion, my day was over a mere 14 hours and 950 frames after it began!

Congratulations to May and Armin who are a wonderful couple with delightful friends and family. I wish them all the best in their life together and can't wait to photograph their kids in a few years time!!!
